Problem Retrieving Column of Time Datatype
am 15.10.2005 07:52:10 von Thomas CheahHi,
I am connecting to MySQL in .NET using MyODBC and OBDC.NET connector.
Whenever I send a SQL query with column of Time data type, it maps to the
..NET TimeSpan datatype, which is consistent with what is mentioned in the
ODBC.NET documentation. But it seems that the result returned is always
00:00:00, which is incorrect to what it is stored in the database.
I know it could be a problem either on MyODBC or the ODBC.NET connector. So,
I had tried using a 3rd party ODBC database explorer application to verify
that, and I get the same error. The column of Time data type always return
the result of '12:00:00am'.
This is rather strange. It seems obvious that it is a bug in MyODBC. Can
anybody confirm this? Thanks!
p/s: I am using MySQL 4.1.14 with MyODBC 3.51.11-2 under Windows XP.
