Spatial Extension do work on Windows

I was mistaken in my statement in an earlier post that there are no =
Windows binaries out there that have the spatial extension turned on. =
The problem was totally my fault. Apparently you have to explicitly =
declare the storage engine to be MYISAM when you create your tables. I =
did not realize my installation was set to default to InnoDB instead of =
MyISAM. Anyway, the spatial functions do work on Windows! Thanks to =
those who offered help. =20
