Lotus Notes and Message-ID

A friend's $WORK runs Lotus Notes. While tracking down a problem
with messages not showing up in Eudora; I found that for some
reason, Notes is sometimes using a header of

Message-ID:

and that is it.

A) Gee that sounds wrong.

B) Anyone run into this on Notes before?
