I use (one of the domains of) fastmail. I mainly use their imap
interface but occasionally I use the web. I haven't had any problems.

I have had one occasion where there was some doubt about a message that
seemed to have been sent but didn't arrive. The sender (on yahoo) didnt
have it in their outbox either, so it was not clear.
I have never had any outage during the houres I used it.

FastMail.FM recently had a ~55 hour outage for some users
(including me) so bear that in mind when you're choosing your
mail service provider. The good news is that they did not lose
any mail during this outage.
I've done a lot of research on mail service providers and I'm
collecting my research here:
My focus is IMAP service providers, but pretty much all IMAP
providers also offer webmail. The nice thing about IMAP is that
you can use any IMAP client to access your mail -- you can even
use multiple clients to access your mail at the same time!
Good luck finding a good mail provider,
Nancy

Nancy, what a great database! unfortunately too late to hezitate as i
already switched to FastMail and sent my new address to everybody. but
it seems to be a serious mail provider anyways, although 10mb is short,
especially when i will be away from the net...
thank you
