Procs with paramters

am 04.12.2005 12:19:12 von Billion Mohammed

Hi,

I am trying to run stored procedures that take parameters.
Seems that the MySQLCommand is not passing on the parameters to the MySQL
engine or the connector is not passing on the parameters --
I traced my code line by line and until the execution time, the commnd
object contained the parameters set - correctly, but at the execution time -
the parameters were not passed to the stored procedure - hence 0 arguments
exception raised.

Any body able to run SPs with parameters?

Thanks.

In order to help you, I'll have to give more info, the simple fact
that Administrator gives you a connection error is not enough, I can't
seem to notice any problem if you are able to connect using mysql at
command line, the only problem I can think is the approuch you're
using and your server specific configs. I'm using Administrator to
deal with 5 databases in 5 different servers, some win, some lin and
never had problems.

Maybe a DNS problem?! Check your HOSTS file to see if there's an entry
there that looks like:

127.0.0.1 localhost

If not, add it and try again, if you're still unable to connect, post
your MySQL config file and your server ipconfig and route outputs.
