Unix MySQL driver issue

I am getting following error msg while trying to connect MySQL database
from other Unix server.

{error} STATE=3D01000, CODE=3D364, MSG=3DThe driver returned invalid (or
failed to ret
urn) SQL_DRIVER_ODBC_VER:
