You would need DBI and

DBD::mysql

OR

DBD::ODBC and the myodbc connector

Last time I tried, the DBI module built fine on OpenVMS once you've built Perl
and got that working. I've also managed to build DBD::ODBC with an ODBC driver
but DBD::mysql will be impossible unless you can build/get the parts of mysql
it needs first.

BTW, if you run into building problems the perlvms mailing list contains some
very clever perl/vms people but I strongly adise you to do some work for
yourself before posting in it.
