I would appreciate of someone can let me know how I can install or
activate
hit tracker machanism on my website.

I want to know how many unquie clicks per day and from where user was
directed to my website...

Well there are many free hit trackers. Some of them are follows. You
can go to the website create an account for your website and copy the
code they give to you n paste it in ur index page or any pages which
you want to track.

I hope any of these two will serve u the best. If u want more analysis
of your website you can try google-analytics too.

Try out http://google.com/analytics

Just insert JS that they provide, and then you are done. The reports
are excellent.
