SQLSpecialColumns call produces deadlock under Linux

Hi,

the problem described in the OpenOffice.org issue
http://dba.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=60273
produces a deadlock when executing under Linux, when trying the same
unde Windows all works well.
We call SQLSpecialColumns with a catalog name, an NULL for the schema,
and the name for the table.

MyODBC version 3.5.12
