IIS set security

IIS set security

am 11.02.2006 15:43:41 von Christian Ista

Hello,

On a server (Windows server 2003 SP1), I have some web site.

I'd like people have access to this web site only and no access to the rest.

And what about the "Defaut web site", may be I can reduce access to my own
IP (I have a fixe IP at home)

Do you have articles about security configuration on IIS ?

Thanks,

Christian,

Configure security on all the other websites, so that these users do not
have access to those other sites

Yes, you can do that. There is a section for configuring DNS/IP restrictions

Did you look in IIS Online Help? There's plenty of information there.
