I installed Encarta on my computer (under Win XP) and allowed a few
programs to access the Internet (when Norton antivirus asked me about
it) Now I have a window called 'Autoplay' appearing every 20 sec
for about 10 sec or so in the left top corner with the sweeping brush,
progress bar and the Cancel button Does it sound like a worm ? I
tried antispyware but it could not find it!
Any ideas?

NAV doesn't have this ability. Norton Personal Firewall and ~ Internet
Security do have, and are cincered to be pure bit-junk and a big danger.

Well, dude, why don't you tell any important details, like f.e. the
process image name and path?

Your system is compromised. Flatten and rebuild. And then think about a
serious security concept.
