Q: Connection to MySql 5 server from a C# based ASP.Net Web Application

Hello,

I am new here and I don't know if my question fits in here well.

Question:
What is the best (easierst) way to connect to a MySql database from a C#
based ASP.Net Web Application?

I have tried the ODBC Data source setup but I don't like this option.
Are there other ways to get a connection to a mysql database on a remote
server?

The newsgroup microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.db that yu posted this
to is fo Clssic ASP, not ASP.NET. If you try a .NET group, those with
"dotnet" in the title, you'll stand a better chance of a meaningful
answer.
