Activestate PPM - problem installing mod_perl

Can anyone help to explain why I get an error when attempting to use
PPM:

C:\dump>ppm install http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/mod_perl.ppd
====================
Install 'mod_perl' version 2.0.2 in ActivePerl 5.8.6.811.
====================
Error: error downloading
'http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/ppms/x86/mod_perl.tar.gz'
: 500 ( Not implemented )

I know the file is resident at that address:
mod_perl.tar.gz 22-Oct-2005 21:14 926K

My OS is Windows XP SP2

Any help is appreciated.

Don't know what's going on there. That file certainly downloaded ok for me,
though I didn't try a ppm install. Maybe just try again.

That particular version of mod_perl is for the Apache 2.x server. Do you
have Apache 2.x ?
