SSL newbie questions

We need to secure OWA on one box, and also a secure private news server and
website on another box. They have the same domain, e.g. mail.mydomain.com
and news.mydomain.com. We may want to secure other hosts within the domain
in the future.

What is the cheapest way to do this with SSL?
