Net censorship spreads worldwide...

Net censorship spreads worldwide...

am 05.05.2006 08:17:18 von Imhotep

"Repressive regimes are taking full advantage of the net's ability to censor
and stifle reform and debate, reveals a report.

Written by the Reporters Without Borders (RSF) pressure group the report
highlights the ways governments threaten the freedom of the press.

The report has a section dedicated to the internet and the growing roster of
nations censoring online life.

This censorship is practised on every continent on Earth, said the report."

Not so shocking is it?

Germany is missing in this report. Here, the Bezirksregierung Düsseldorf
trys to enforce Internet censorship.

Not just them, but also the GVU and some other people. Hey, can you

And may I remind you about VeriSign's PathFinder? DNS censorship deluxe.

Soon everybody can enjoy censorship. Your trusted friend Microsoft has put
some resources to the task.
