*I am trying to get rid of A Squared (a2) that i mistakenly downloaded when i
installed IE 7 Beta. A Squared (a2) is a security program that is an add-in
to the new IE7 Beta. I often get a message that looks like a Microsoft
message but it isn't. that message says mal-pc.scr needs to close, asks if i
want to report it to MS, etc.
*I uninstalled a2 and it is not listed in Windows Explorer. I also reset the
browser default with Tools, Internet Options. I attempted to Control + Prt
Scr to send to MS but that won't work.
*I still get that Mal-Pc.Scr message. Today I got it once or twice. If I
click on their link to "what this data contains" it says something about
Windows NT. I finally used my digital camera and took pics of the messages. i
could send them to you if you tell me how.
*this computer is not on a network.

Wrong newsgroup for that type of question.

That is a trojan or virus. Get a virus checker or use other cleanup
programs (from reputable sources).

Or, just wipe the machine and start over.
