Who got sp_setapprole working with ASP?

I keep getting password errors with this. I want to call sp_setapprole
after creating a connection on any database access from my ASP pages.
sp_setapprole called with same parameters from Enterprise manager works
fine.

Has anybody ever tried this / made it work?
