Inserting full sized pictures in the body of an e-mail.
Inserting full sized pictures in the body of an e-mail.
am 14.05.2006 13:00:24 von amitsheth
Hello everyone,
I use both Mozilla Firefox (1.5) as well as IE 6.0 under Win 2000. I
receive many e-mails wherein complete pictures are embedded in the body
of the mail messsage, which I think is a really convenient way to send
pictures since the recepients do not need to download them first to see
them in their entirety.
When I try to forward such a mail, I see that only the message text
gets forwarded and the pictures (which were in the original message
received by me) are not forwarded along with the message.
Also, when I compose a new message and try to insert pictures using
Yahoo Photomail, only a small thumbnail of the photo is received by the
recepient and he/she is prompted to visit the Yahoo Photos home page to
view the full pictures.
What I want to know is, how do I compose such a message in, say, Yahoo
Mail (I use a Yahoo Mail account as my primary e-mail account) so that
the recepients are able to get all the pictures in the message body
itself ?
Any help towards this will be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Amit.

This is a MIME GnuPG-signed message. If you see this text, it means that
your E-mail or Usenet software does not support MIME signed messages.
The Internet standard for MIME PGP messages, RFC 2015, was published in 1996.
To open this message correctly you will need to install E-mail or Usenet
software that supports modern Internet standards.

You don't. Since Yahoo wants everyone to go to their site to view pictures,
so they get be harassed with banner ads, that's the only way their webmail
software works.

Beavis FAQ #6.
See, that's the problem in a nutshell, Beavis. You're trying to think.
This is where you're going wrong. You are not properly equipped for
thinking, so trying to think always gets you into trouble. You must stop
it. Stop trying to think, and don't attempt it again until after you've
managed to raise your IQ above the level of a head of cabbage.
