problem with dbi module.

Hi,

I'm David ANDRE from caterpillar in Belgium.

i try to use the DBI module with perl 5.8.3 on Itanium.
I receive the following message :

Can't locate loadable object for module DBI in @INC (@INC contains:

I have downloaded and installed the module in directory
/opt/perl/lib/site_perl/5.8.3.

Can you help me?
