Recommendations for hard disk encryption tool?
Recommendations for hard disk encryption tool?
am 26.07.2006 15:08:08 von news
I need a tool for encrypting the hard disk on my laptop. I've looked at
SafeBoot and SafeGuard, but as far as I can tell these are only
available with multi-user licenses, and hence quite expensive.
I only want to protect one laptop at a one-off price. Recommendations
anyone?

Hi Ian,
You may want to check SecureDoc by Winmagic.
http://www.winmagic.com/
They have been around for quite a while and are certified to
meet several Government security standards.

If you're using Free Software, there are solutions with the OS.
If you're using Windows, then truecrypt would be a good choice.
