ppm DBD-Oracle installation errors

I'm trying to use ppm to install DBD-Oracle on Windows XP. (ActivePerl
5.8.8)

I'm getting a host of errors including: several can't remove directories
etc, can't unlink file etc

I also get at the very end of the error messages

Can't run c\Perl\bin\perl.exe install_script: no such file or directory

=20

Any suggestions?

Is there a missing colon (:) in
c\Perl\bin\perl.exe

c:\Perl\bin\perl.exe
