Security on inetpub/wwwroot

Security on inetpub/wwwroot

I am new to setup of IIS and am strugling with setup of an intranet.

I have an Exchange Server that is setup with IIS and ASP running. I am
trying to use the wwwroot folder to allow me to publish a starting
point to my intranet. I am not able to write to this directory from my
workstation.

I have even logged on to the workstation as admin of the Domain and
still no luck. I can write when logged on the local box but I do not
understand why I can not write from elsewhere.

Under IIS I have the default website setup with windows authentication.

Under Windows Explorer with NTFS I have my user setup with Full
Permissions?

Any feedback is appreciated..

How are you accessing that folder from the workstation?
A share, or? If share, what are the share-level permissions?

I have it setup as a Share and also the NTFS permissions. My account
has full privlages on both.

in any case even when logged in as the Domain adminstrator onto my
workstation I can not write to it...
