User authentication process

Hi all.

I've read somewhere in PostgreSQL that when a client tries to connect to =
PostgreSQL, the client md5-encryptes the password and then md5-encyptes a=
gain the result with some data the server sents him.=20

Is this behavior supported by this ODBC?
