No, it's not worth notifying FileMaker unless the spammer set up a phishing
site. (In which case you would email abuse@filemaker.com)
Spammers continually use "spoofed" email addresses to bypass filters. Given
the current architecture of the Internet, there is nothing that can be done
about it.
Anyone can put webmaster@filemaker.com in as their "from:" address. I get
dozens of "Undeliverable Mail" messages from mail systems that are
responding to messages apparently sent from shfdsjsf@wjm.org or other random
addresses using my domain. Of course I did not send them, nor did my mail
server. I am sure FileMaker is in a situation 100x worse.
