How does Norton NIS 2007 & Systemworks 06 Work Together?

Good Evening,
Quick question Norton NIS 2007 has a different "Protection center"
Deisgn then The versions of 06 products including system works 2006.
So if i get Norton Systemworks 2006 along with NIS 2007, will all the
features of both programs be accessiable in the same window by clicking
the norton botton? Or will i have to open both programs indivdually?
Write back
thanks

I was going to let this one slide by but I think the deafening silence
has to do with the readers of this newsgroup being fairly experienced
computer users who would never run that much Norton crap on any
machine.
My advise would be to remove systemworks 2006 immediately using a
"complete uninstaller" from the symantec website that gets all the
nooks and crannies out. THen if you've already purchased NIS 2007 and
opened the box (i.e. can't return it) then try that and dump it after
the subscription runs out and look at something like Kaspersky or eSet
NOD32 for anti-virus.
The AV engine for Norton is enough to drag down a system, and I can't
imagine loading it down with all the crap in Systemworks and then
adding NIS to it.
Best Regards,

FWIW, even the Norton uninstaller left registry entries to various
Symantec modules. The trial version HP bundles on the pavilions 'may'
leave these to check and see what you 'upgraded to' or make sure you are
not still suing [oops, "using"] their lameware????
