I signed up for a gmail account a couple of weeks ago.
They require SSL on the downloads, and TLS on the uploads,
and want me to believe that this is protecting my privacy.

Yet their TOS is very clear: They can do anything they want
with all of my incoming or outgoing mails.

I'm supposed to trust this greedy and faceless corporation
that lives on advertising.

Those encrypted connections obviously aren't protecting my
privacy at all: What they are doing is keeping some _other_
crooks from getting _Google's_ data.

Gmail doesn't use C/R. So why you would want a Gmail account in the first
place?
