useful setting in yahoo email for replying to an email ..
when you click reply in yahoo (web) email it by default includes the
previous email with an html line at the far left and makes it difficult
to respond to line by line. I wanted to be able to respond like in
usenet. Interspersing my reply with the original message.
I've now found settings to change it like that.
click options then i've selected options which - to paraphease, like
like this
- "compose as plain text"
- "block html from being downloaded"
you may only need the first option.. but i've done both and it works.
Maybe outlook express has a similar option allowing one to reply like
in usenet.

It's good to see someone making an effort to reply in a form I've always
considered to be common-sense, despite some interfaces/programs landing the
user in a default top-post-state.
I've been told off for bottom-posting from more than one person, by the way.
Once I suggest a few links for them to peruse, the subject never comes up
again. Strange.
Regards,
BH.

it has been pointed out to me that when people just make some stupid
post like "thank you" then top posting is not so inappropriate.
Also, turns out the yahoo email settings may or may not work.
On my 2 different yahoo accounts, settings are identical. One in works,
the other it doesn't
So, I don't know

You should learn to trim your posts to include *only* the relevant quoted
material as I have done here, instead of including absolutely everything as
you have done.
