Hi all.

I just want to make you aware of an exciting new piece of software that is available from
www.ttc4it.co.nz

I think you'll be interested in the software because it provides a very secure means of
connecting to remote servers over unsecured networks like the Internet.

It is like a VPN & Firewall system fused together to provide network port access to
specific servers. The web management interface and the VPN client make this software;
very secure, very easy to manage, and very easy to use.

Special features have been built into it to defeat key logger software and man in the
middle attacks.

This is commercial software but there is a free trial version available that uses Vmware
player to host the Secure VPN Gateway.

Documentation and other details are freely available from www.ttc4it.co.nz

Like all commercial software commercial support is provided. At Ttc4it you wont be
wasting time dealing with help desks. Instead you are plugged in directly to the software
developers. Better support means problems are fixed faster.

Best wishes for the New Year.

I've read many of his articles and i must say they're far more
interesting than your comments.

Tony,

Thanks for your comments.

You know the hardest thing to do on the Internet is to connect people and products
together. I spend a small fortune on advertising but find that my best results come from
trying to present products to people that already have an interest in the products features.

Secure VPN Gateway is just one of the products we have.

It is a Security product, it incorporates a firewall, so I felt that members of this news
group might be interested.

The other news groups that I posted to were chosen because they also deal with specific
features of the software.

You know the key feature that I feel best suites this conference is the way that we have
turned the tables on typical VPN connections.

What I mean here is that instead of creating a VPN connection and then applying firewall
rules to limit what the user can access (A step that many VPN users just ignore). We do it
differently.

With Secure VPN Gateway you define "link rules". These link rules describe individual
network port connections. As an example; You might have a link rule that describes the
connection to a mail SMTP server. Port 25 on IP 192.169.1.123.

This link rule is then allocated to a user account. When the user connects they are
presented with a menu of their link rules. They start just the link rules they want to
use. This process creates an encrypted tunnel between their PC and the link rule IP
address on the link rule's port number. We call this a "targeted connection".

The only connection the client PC has to the Site is on that one network port to that one
IP address. They have no way of poking around on other systems or services on your network.

My company exists by writing software and providing consultancy services to those who need
them.

Regards
David Gempton.

Ya, but the way he wrote it, it sounds sooo much better :-D
