Cannot open a .php file

am 13.01.2007 00:55:04 von long eddy

Hello all,
I can't open a .php file using using Windows 98.

My steps:

Start/
Progarms/
Notepad/

Notepad opens and I type in the following:

I save it as:

info.php

not as a text file but in all files in My Documents.

Close it.

Reopen My Documents and I find the file not as a notepad icon as info.php -
but as a *windows* icon named info.php. However, I cannot open the file it
will give me then Open or Open With...command.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
Eddy

Please, don't multi-post, it's considered rude and you get responses like this
or the same answer on all the newsgroups you have posted at, as people may not
subscribe to the other newsgroups you posted at.

If you have to post a question to more than one newsgroup, then place all the
newsgroup names on the same row, separated with a comma. Don't post more than
to a handful relevant newsgroups.

As your question has nothing to do with sql and really a php question for that
matter, this one has been posted at the wrong newsgroup, I do suggest you had
asked it a microsoft-windows newsgroup.
