How can somebody read my emails?

Hi all,

I have a friend that believes somebody is reading her emails (it's a
hotmail account).
Apart from the other person having the password, is there any other way
they could be getting access to her emails? Forwarding a copy to his
own account for example?
They used to share a computer but now they don't.

If the "friend" is too stupid to change the password, then maybe you need to
choose better "friends."
