why the Fukkk does yahoo mail always suck?!

Anybody experience the following stupidities?

1) it periodically refuses to auto-enter aliases when you type in the
first few characters, forcing you to type in the full addresses of
your correspondents.

2) after a few emails that you are able to send with normal speed, it
begins hanging and hanging on succeeding emails.

why is yahoo such a nonfunctional wreck in something as time tested as
email? Gmail never has these problems.

AT&T Yahoo is my ISP and I find their email remarkable, wether using
the web based email or using and email client to send and receive.
