I am trying to connect to a MySql Database across the network

I went in and set up permissions on the database using the grant all
command.

I get a password yes response with [MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Access denied
for user 'justin'@'computername'

Data Source Name I entered myodbc
Description Justin
Server computer name
User justin
Password password I created
Database doesn't come up.I have to type it in.


All help is greatly appreciated.I am having a lot of problems getting this
to work

Well, I guess you used "grant all privileges on 'justin' to
'justin'@'localhost' identified by 'password'" when you've setup the
permissions.

It should have been something like:
"grant all privileges on 'justin' to 'justin'@'192.168.0.10' identified by
'password'"
where 192.168.1.10 is your workstation IP

If you want to access the database from all the workstations on your LAN,
use:
"grant all privileges on 'justin' to 'justin'@'192.168.0.%' identified by
'password'"
