public email systems - who is more secure?

public email systems - who is more secure?

am 20.03.2007 05:04:13 von Jackie

Hi there,

My friend's hotmail got hacked (and he was in big trouble), then I
checked hotmail login form which is not using https, while yahoo mail
and gmail are.

It seems obvious that yahoo mail and gmail are more secure than
hotmail, but I still want to confirm if it is true.

Thanks and regards

Click on "Sign in using enhanced security".

Oh, thanks, I saw that, standard vs enhanced security option.
So standard security means not secure, not everyone really get it, why
don't they use https (enhanced security) as default in today's world?

The form isn't downloaded with HTTPS, but the login information is
submitted with HTTPS. Look at the source.

Didn't we just have a thread about this point in the past couple of days?
