Hi All,

I am newbie using perl and perl modules, I need your assistance in getting
DBD-Oracle-1.19 installed. My system is a sun 280r, running solaris 8, perl
v5.8.8 built for sun4-solaris-thread-multi, the error occurs when doing
make. TIA

perl Makefile.PL

Using DBI 1.54 (for perl 5.008008 on sun4-solaris-thread-multi) installed in
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/sun4-solaris-thread-mul ti/auto/DBI/

Remember to actually *READ* the README file! Especially if you have any
problems.

Re: DBD-Oracle-1.19 will not make nice

Thatis a very old version of Oracle client that you are trying to compile
against.
You might have to go back all the way to DDB14 which diso not have
SQLT_TIMESTAMP_LTZ in the code.

or get the Oracle instant clients and compile and connect with that one.

What was the old version of DBD::Oracle that you were using before?

cheers
