SPF Record Configuration?

SPF Record Configuration?

am 10.05.2007 02:39:16 von Mike

I'm a bit confused... can someone verify that I've done this right?

I'm running a website with account registration, and am using google
apps as my mail front end. I created an SPF record, because people
have been spoofing my domain for spam. Does this look right?

mydomain.org. IN TXT "v=spf1 a mx mx:myWebHostsDomain.com
mx:google.com ~all"

What should I look for in the header of messages to verify that I have
this configured correctly?

Thanks!

Mike

Probably not. Certainly if you send a email using the gmail website, even
if you use your own domain in the from: field, the envelope sender is
gmail using gmail servers and they do the spf.
