Hi: I hope I'm posting to the right group. I see a calendar program
on a number of pages, but despite numerous searches, I have not been
able to find a (free?) service that provides this.
Anyone know where I can find this?

It depends on what you have available on your server. IIRC, Google also
has calendaring ability

I need to find an example and of course now I can't find one. What
I'm talking about is merely the graphic with the current month. It's
not interactive or anything of that sort.

Your current month, the server's current month, or your viewer's month -
of course the majority of the time these will probably be identical, but
best to make sure you know what you want. I tried asking similar in
<1139676326.080823.60290@z14g2000cwz.googlegroups.com> but did not receive
any satisfactory response (change what I'm after [days] to what you want
[months] and the principle holds).
Do you have access to SSI, php or similar?

I finally found an example of what I'm talking about. If you will
scroll down bit, to the left of the page, you'll see a calendar. This
is what I'm talking about;

I've always wanted to put one of these on my page, but haven't been
able to find a free one. This one is particularly interesting,
because you can drag it around!
