I recently wrote up a script that will capture content returned from a =
Cisco router's serial port. The initial script uses Win32::SerialPort =
and works fine by itself but now they can't access that port via a =
terminal app when the script is running. Could someone clue me in as to =
how I could go about writing a serial port sniffer? Thx.

I don't know if this helps but MarshallSoft computing offers APIs for
serial communication. I have used their products with success.

Depending on your application it might be easier to buy a data tap
