IIS 6 and user"s home folder

I install a new server with Windows 2003 svr and IIS6. My production server
for now is a server with Windows 2000 and IIS 5 and I use a filter to map the
user's home folder as web site (ex. u:\html). Now the filter didn't work in
IIS 6. Does anybody know something else than virtual directory that does the
same thing? I have over 3000 students needs to map their home directory and
I don't want to create a virtual directory for each.
