Process query string to WMS?

Hi

I wanted to know if it was possible to retrieve a query string to
Windows Media Server - i.e. something like: mms://localhost/file.wmv?user=john
and process it either in either IIS (through an ASP) or in Windows
Media Server itself.

I *think* you can do this by writing a WMS plug-in.

Yes, and you need Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition for that.
