need help

How do I start the IIS service in win 2003? I tried to do it in the service
and it is running but when I tried to put a htm under the
c:\inet\wwwroot\test.htm and type
http://server/test.htm . It gives "service unavailable". Can anyone please
help?

Hi,

Please look in the Windows Event Log, and paste any relevant events that
might be related to why your web application pool can not start.

At the moment, it seems taht your WWW Publishing Service has started, but
the WWW PUblishing Service can not start a worker process (w3wp.exe) to
service the web app pool that your website is in. That is why you are
getting "Service Unavailable" errors.
