Web Stats for IIS6

Web Stats for IIS6

am 23.07.2007 16:36:49 von Anthony Smith

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well this Monday morning. I'm a novice to IIS6.
We're using it on our webserver. Can you tell me what reporting features
are available for IIS6? I like all the information available on the 3rd
part WebTrends. Does IIS6 have anything similar to this out of the box
without purchasing a 3rd party? If so I do I turn it on and gain access to
it? Thanks!

Sincerely,
Anthony Smith

No, IIS is only responsible for logging the activities. Only thing you
can change is log format/detail. You will need a third party to
interpret that raw data.

"Analog - The most popular logfile analyser in the world " - is
supposed to be a good (free) web log analyser and reporting tool

Like Deniz said IIS only log requests, there are a lot of programs for
analyzing them.

You can use analog (www.analog.cx) with report magic which is free, or
commercial solutions like webtrends, webalizer, or light versions like weblog
expert lite which is very simple but free.

Regards Ramon
