No Index.html but files listet

Hello,

i want to show all files which are lying on a vserver with apache
(red hat linux 9).

In /var/www/web6/html should all filis be listet, where no index.html or
similar is present. (Offer some downloads for some friends).

Therefore at first i tryed .htaccess with:
"Options +Indexes"
=> "Forbidden, You don't have permission..."

I also tryed "Options +Indexes" in vhosts.conf with the same result.

Any hints ?

Make sure the following line is in your apache configuration file:

AddModule mod_autoindex.c
