Client-only download?

Hi all,
I have version 4.0.15 installed on my PC, but I want to connect to a
v5.0 server. Obviously, this is a problem, as the authentication
protocols are different. I don't particularly want to have to re-install
mysql on my PC. Is there a client-only download I can use? Or is it
necessary to download the entire v5.0 server?
