HTTP Header variables in Apache

Hello all,

I have apache 2.0.59 running on sun solaris. I would like to get
username of logged on user from HTTP Header variables such as request-
>servervariables("LOGON_USER"). Currently this gives me blank value.

Is there a way to achieve this? I know that LOGON_USER is populated in
my HTTP Header varaibles. I just can't get to it from apache using
perl file.
