Configuring IIS on Windows XP
am 15.08.2007 07:30:09 von Rav761
Hi,
I have a PC with Windows XP as operating system. I have configured
Internet Information Service (IIS) on my system. I have created the
virtual directory and given the path of the ASP and HTML files
location. When I am trying to open the ASP Page in the Internet
Explorer I am getting an Error Messege "Server Encountered Problem,
Please check event viewer".
Can you please suggest me the steps in configuring the IIS and help me
out in loading the web pages via internet explorer.
Awaiting for a reply.
Thank you,
Ravindra.

Hi,
Please follow the instructions presented to you. Open Event Viewer (which is
located in Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools) and look for
relevant events. If you find a relevant error event, open it, and click the
"Copy" button (it looks like two pieces of paper), and paste the event
details here.
Cheers
