More than one Run-time

More than one Run-time

I really enjoy working with FMPro, since version 3. This is the first
job I have had in a long time where I can not just add the software I
want to my computer. What I have done is create a run-time for
myself. I create on Mac and run on XP. All has worked great, until I
wanted a second, third, and now a fourth run time. These are just
supplemental databases that I use once or twice a week..... max.

My primary one I open in the morning and close it when I go home.
But, if it is open, I can't open any of the others.

XP-Pro on my window PC to create the run-times. FMPro 8.v01 Advanced
on Mac and WinXP machines. Mac OSX (10.4.10).

The extension I use on all of my run-times is .TKH. Any
suggestions?

TK

You also have to make sure you use the same binding key so that all the
"bound" database files are using the same runtime application.

Hopefully helping harassed humans happily handle handiwork hardships ;o)

You could create a dummy or switchboard database linking all your applications
to a single solution and then create a runtime for it.

Good luck
