Hello,
I've a foundation website where we want to share documents. I like to share
it with an explorer view and the possibility to upload and delete files and
to give them a description.
Is there a open source tool for this? The description can be saved in a
MySQL database.

Not that I know of offhand. What kind of documents? And what do you
mean by "share it with an explorer view"?
