Migrating web sites to new server? default web pages
am 02.09.2007 15:14:33 von boe
Hello,
I have an 2003 web server with many web sites on it. I'd like to migrate it
to a new server but would like to make sure the sites copy exactly so the
default web pages and are still set - is there a way to do this? I'd also
like to make sure they have the same security settings for the pages.
Thanks

1)Take a look at iiscnfg
http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/46e15 c9a-fd7c-4c1e-aaa6-0767ccd6fdd11033.mspx?mfr=true
2) IISExport is a 3rd party tool.
3) Friend of mine wrote something, this might do the trick.

As with anything, test test test!
