required files in i386 for I.I.S. installation

Hi there everyone,
I need to install I.I.S. with World Wide Web Service component on a
very large number of PCs running Windows 2000 remotely. It shows that
I have to install I.I.S. 5.0.
For some reason i386 folder has been deleted and it is impossible to
upload it completely to every single one of these PCs. At this point,
I have to know which files are required or mandatory for installation
in order to minimize the size of package which I will upload. I have
found a solution for Windows XP but that version of I.I.S. is 5.1 and
I think that doesn't match exactly with I.I.S. 5.0.
I've been searching for a reasonable solution for hours. In a post, it
has been advised to try to begin installation with an empty i386
folder, so that we could learn the names of the required files by
reading error messages. But that way, of course doesn't even allow to
begin installation.
I'd be glad if you show me some way or even a clue :)

As you try to remotely install IIS, you may not be able to use the CD.
What about simply adding a network drive in you netlogon script pointing on
a server shared folder, then put the i386 folder in it... You'll be able to
see it from any PC you will connect on, and always with exactely the same
path. The only matter it that if your computers doesn't use exactely the
same version of windows, it might fail or produce some strange effects (what
about a IIS speaking gerenglitanish ?)
