When my Network manager built a new 2003 server for me, I asked him to
put 1.1 and 2.0 on it.
When he tried to put 1.1 on it said that it was "already installed".
Is that the case? Does w2003s have .NET 1.1 preinstalled?
(We've been on w2k so long, I don't have much experience with w2003s)
Yes, .NET 1.1 is installed with WIN2003 OS.

1.1 is included with Windows 2003. I believe this is from the start, but may
happen when you add the application server role (mandatory for IIS). 2.0 has
to be installed separately.
